annual meeting
The
United Bowhunters of New Jersey (UBNJ) Northern
Region held its annual members meeting on February
3rd
at Camp Ocawasin in West
Milford, New Jersey. Over eighty members filled
the clubhouse to listen to the Northern Regional Vice
President of UBNJ Pete Graziano review the
organization’s 2009 accomplishments, after which
appetizers and refreshments were served. After
refreshments, the attendees eagerly awaited the much
anticipated highlight of the night, a lecture by Kip Adams
on “How to Age Deer on the Hoof” and “How
to Better Utilize Your Trail
Camera”.
The Skylands branch of QDMA was well
represented by the branch’s officers as they staffed
an exhibition table with information, membership
applications and a antler judging contest with the winners
receiving donated prizes. A flood of questions
followed Kip’s lecture and many attendees crowded to
the Skylands QDMA table to have their further questions
answered by Kip Adams, Steve Groseibl, Mark Scialla and
Paul Citerelli. All in all, we believe this type of
activity fosters a synergy between the two organizations
which will benefit all in the future of hunting in New
Jersey.
